AMCOP 77 will be held June 25-27, 2026, at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL. You can look forward to a Keynote banquet presentation on “Worms and Germs: Diversity of Trematodes infecting Bats from Panama and their association with bacterial pathogens in the genus Neorickettsia” by Stephen Greiman, and a Symposium on immunoparasitology.

Two optional workshops are available on Thursday June 25. These workshops are intended for students and faculty. They are free and open to attendees. During registration, please indicate attendance so the appropriate number of materials and stations can be prepared.

Workshop 1: 9AM-12PM. How to prepare specimens for museum deposition and preparation of small mammal study skins” presented by Dr. Agustin Jimenez and Dr. Kurt Galbreath
Workshop 2: 2-5PM. Isolating filarial worms and malaria from mosquitoes presented by Dr. Shelly Michalski

Join us for games night Friday after the banquet. There will be card games, board games, and AMCOP trivia. The cash bar will remain open until 11:00pm. Wine, beer, seltzers, spirits and non-alcohol options will be available.
